hi,great tutorial.

I get an error when running these:

./configure --enable-postproc
The Postprocessing code is under GPL and --enable-gpl is not specified.
If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from SVN. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
[email protected] mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem.

This error
./configure --enable-liba52
Unknown option "--enable-liba52".
See ./configure --help for available options.

And this one too:

./configure --enable-swscale
The software scaler is under GPL and --enable-gpl is not specified.
If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from SVN. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
[email protected] mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.err" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem.

@.::GuNnE?::.

You need to run the entire sentence (I changed the problem with --enable-liba52, ffmpeg now has it inside):

Code:
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared --enable-gpl --enable-postproc --enable-libmp3lame --enable-libvorbis --enable-pthreads --enable-swscale
Oh, and my side is up again :)

@jubitoo

Your card doesn't have the Xv extension enabled. Be sure to use the propriarty drivers if you're using an Ati or Nvidia based card. Just a hint: envyng and google should get you started.

I've tried using -P'remote -i /dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:01:06.2--event-ir' and vdr continues to the 'press up' screen. But pressing 'up' doesn't trigger the learning.

I'm starting vdr directly with:
vdr -P sc -P'remote -i /dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:01:06.2--event-ir' -P'xineliboutput -l sxfe -V xv'

I can see the remote is working by pressing the mute button, and in bash up/down scrolls through the list of commands.

I suspect that somehow Kubuntu takes ownership of the remote and blocking vdr from gaining access.

I've also tried with lircd, but again, it seems like Kubuntu keeps ownership.

Any ideas?
hal9k
Are you sure you need the remote plugin? The remote plugin is only for using VDR in combination with the TT or Hauppauge remotes (for instance) which are mounted to /dev/input devices.

And be sure to start VDR through boottime (you don't need the sxfe stuff, just the plain items I wrote in the TS). Then use xine or vdr-sxfe to connect.

Hi,

You're missing the preload (run.sh script as verge told) and you need to comment DVBAPI. Otherwise it won't work, even with the preload.

Thanks @ all

i've solved the problem.

You have to "hijack" the ca0 and connect to vdr via the camd.socket files.

Now it works perfect. :)

But i've an other (smal) problem:

When i startup CCcam with: /var/emu/CCcam.x86 -dv >> /var/log/cccam.log this creates only a empty file.

Is there a way to make it able that CCcam write logs in into a given file? (maybe in CCcam.cfg?)

Hi,

Since Shalafi's site doesen't work, anyone knows a other way to get the "xine-lib-1_2-ffmpeg.patch" and those other files on that site.

Any help on those files are much appreciated...
