New vdr DVBAPI (sc) plugin - 27-June-2011, 12:11

Hello there!

I tried to set-up Linux multimedia PC with xbmc, vdr,vdr-sc and oscam.
The HOWTO (in German, use google translate) is here:
http://schnere.bveml.net/de/content/...u-100410101104

Everything worked well except vdr-sc which was unstable. Therefore I created my own simplified dvbapi sc plugin which you can get from here:

Info about XBMC:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=General

How to set it up read page from first link in my previous post.
To get it working with oscam (no sure that it works with cccam),
download the dvbapi vdr plugin, from oscam forum.
The README and INSTALL is in archive.

I have working setup of yaVDR 0.4 with opensc plugin. using sharing with cccam server. It takes much longer time to decrypt the channel. but at least its working.

Please guide me how I can use your vdr-plugin-dvbapi with oscam...

I tried your version of this plugin on yavdr 0.4, but I get the same issue as with vdr-sc: No Channels Available on scrambled channels (and yes, I disabled the dynamite plugin).

Ok, I fixed it myself. Before using dvbapi or vdr-sc, be sure to upgrade yavdr first. After this upgrade and a restart, I'm seeing stuff again :)
