I'm trying to get vdr 1.7 to work with my old dvb-s card (saa7146)
I'v tried shalfafi's howto and get this:
VDR requires Linux DVB driver API version 5.0!
I think I need a updatet firmware..
Does anybode know where I can find firmware that support API v5?
And how do I install it?

Install your driver, to know how read this thread:

Steps you need for installing your drivers(from the thread):
apt-get install build-essential
apt-get install mercurial cvs subversion libncurses-dev
cd /usr/local/src
hg clone
cd s2-liplianin
cd linux/include/linux
ln -s /usr/src/linux-headers-`uname -r`/include/linux/compiler.h ./
cd ../../../
make install
depmod -a
After this you need a mod ttpci firmware for NA if you are there.
