I'm using vdr 1.6.0 with sc from hg directory (i checked out sc yesterday). I did not follow the sc Readme.CCcam exactly, but i installed CCcam with LD_PRELOAD.
This is my run.sh
Code:
#!/bin/sh
cd /var/emu/cccam
LD_PRELOAD=./ca.so ; export LD_PRELOAD
rm /tmp/camd.socket    /tmp/.CCcam.nodeid  /tmp/cw0
./CCcam.x86 -d -n -t  -C /var/emu/etc/CCcam.cfg
It runs fine but i think it's not working. This is the first output of CCcam:
Code:
13:40:11.175 CCcam: ======================================================================
13:40:11.175 CCcam: starting CCcam 2.0.9 compiled on May 20 [email protected]:53:25

13:40:11.254 CCcam: server started on port 12000
When i try to tune to a channel with vdr i get these:
Code:
Dec 14 21:41:14 [cardclient.core] now trying client cccam (127.0.0.1:9000)

Dec 14 21:41:18 [cardclient.core] cc-loop
and in CCcam's log these:
Code:
21:46:27.616 CCcam: cam[0] set PMT for sid=34d6
21:46:30.617 CCcam: found nagra caid: 0x1801 ecmpid: 0x1f40 id: 0x0

21:46:34.672 CCcam: ignore equal capmt version for device 0
21:46:35.673 CCcam: enigma interface: disconnected (0)
I checked the webinterface of CCcam as well, and it doesn't show any clients connected. I think that there should be a client from localhost (vdr-sc). Am i wrong?
What could i do in order to make it work? Any hints?
Do i need to run capmtserver.x86 as well?

The cardclient.conf has only this line:
Code:
cccam:127.0.0.1:9000:0/0000/0000:/tmp/camd.socket

I have similar problem. I use 2 dvbs :
- dvbs FF s2300
- dvbs skystar2.
The chroot with Cccam works fine with the cards but sometimes I have a black screen or freeze image.
The sc log show me this error :
Code:
[core.net] socket: select timed out

The one in my package. See the VDR-tutorial for the download to CCcam.tar.bz2. It includes CCcam and the correct ca.c.

where to get ca.c ? - 07-February-2009, 15:38

Hi Shalafi,

thanks for all the great info,
just got myself a Hauppauge Nova DVB-S2 receiver, and got everything working on Gentoo. FTA is oke, and with the latest vdr-sc I got newcamd working as well.
Now I need to get CCcam working, however I seem to need a recent ca.c.
I can't find it anywhere, the link to CCcam.tar.bz2 from your howto's doesn't seem to be available anymore.

Can anyone please tell me where I can get the correct ca.c ?

Thanks,

Hmm, sorry, posted a bit too soon,

just found your other thread saying that your website is offline. I'll hang on until it's available again.

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how on earth you got ca.so/CCcam to work on multiple dvb cards.
Where does it make the distinction between /dev/dvb/adapter1 or 2 or ...
Also since ca.so listens on port 9000 of the localhost, how do multiple instances cope with this.
