You won't be able to set up DDNS in the Eircom router unless they have updated the firmware recently. There is a menu in PLI Jade for Inadyn, which should really work just as well as the router for you. You'll have to find the specific menu. I don't use PLi and am not sure just where it is.

You first need to set up a dynamic dns account with a dynamic dns provider if you have not already done so.

Name and Password are the username and password you used to set up the dynamic dns account.

Alias is either example in example.dyndns.org, or the full host name - example.dyndns.org. Protocol/Service if available in a drop-down is the one matching your DDNS provider.
