How to connect DM500 via 3G modem? - 20-May-2009, 00:36

Hello all... I have a problem to receive sattelite codes from sharing server. My configuration looks like...

3G HSDPA Modem <---> Laptop <---> WLAN Router <---> DM500

3G HSDPA Modem is connected to Laptop Computer via PCMCIA card slot.
Laptop is connected to WLAN Router via WLAN adapter.
WLAN Router is connected to DM500 via LAN Cable.

3G HSDPA Modem is dynamic DNS on every connection and i share connection from HSDPA modem to IP on DM500 (192.168.1.10).
On DM500 my Gateway is laptop computer (192.168.1.100).
WLAN Router is Thomson SpeedTouch ST780 an his IP is 192.168.1.254

How to setup DM500 to connect to internet via HSDPA cart on my laptop? In my situation, i have to connect on both side and DM500 see and connect to internet and my laptop see DM500. I correctly download software and plugins from internet to DM500 but CCcam don`t receive any code from cardshare server.
My friend who have a sharing server properly see my connection to server but my DM500 don`t receive any codes from our server.

Please help.

Regards.

if you have access to a DSL use it. To use a 3g modem connect your dreambox to the network port of the 3g modem.

use the laptop to wirelessly connect to the 3g modem and configure the dreambox.

Billion BiPAC 7402GXL dual-interface ADSL2+ / firewall / USB 3G - Broadbandstuff.co.uk
that one is a decent router that support 3G as backup.

working great with 3G, i used to use it once i moved to my new place.

share the 3g modem and use the port of your laptop for sharing it to the dreambox.

Server on other side detect when my DM send request for key, but my modem don`t receive any packet from server. Server on other side don`t recognize who is on other side to receive right key?!
Is it possible to server send packet to IP where request is sended?
