My C line is not active - 26-August-2010, 23:14

Hi, I am adding c lines to my cccam.cfg file as they send them to me. I can see them as active when using ccCamInfoPHP. but they cannot see me as active. In fact I see myself as a client in red.
Can someone PLS tell me what is wrong or what should I check?

Pls help as I dont want to loose these C Lines.

many thanks

Try read Tutorials section and also ensure you have your port forwarded and there is no syntax erros in c lines in your cfg also have you gave your peer/s an F line to match c line they gave you ??
You will also need to create a dyndns / no-ip account and forward port to your dmbox ip addy .
This is already explained and covered in Tutorial sticky threads found via Search button at top of forum .

If you like what i post then please Use the "Thanks Button"

I think 90% problem like write bumsebiene is made by:
- no forword port on router [ if you have this please look to your router and forword port if you have on your cline write port 12000 you mast forworded post on your router without this you will be see only your friends in server side]
- erorr in cline fline plase look to thsi nice xamples from this site i think help you more
Step 7 - Test if you can connect to each other

Your ccam.cfg file should now look like this:
C: 12000 noob firstimer
F: superdan teddy

Whereas "superdan's" cfg file should now look like this:
C: 12000 superdan teddy
F: noob firstimer

You should therefore now be able to see "superdan" as both a server and a client. Likewise, "superdan" should be able to see you as a server and a client. You can see this using either:

1. CCcamInfoPHP v0.9. You run this on your PC and it gives you statistics about all your peers/friends. There is another program called "phantom" which does the same thing.

2. Your dreambox. Go to "plugins", "ccam".

If superdan is your first peer then you are probably a parasite at this moment in time leeching purely off him so get yourself some more peers asap and build up your portfolio.

Assuming the ccam emulator is running on your dreambox you should be able to clear (watch) whatever packages/channels are being shared from "superdan".
