hi,,i think the best for cardsharing is dreambox
the simple is dreambox 500S (NO HD channels) or dreambox 800S (With HD)
you don't need to buy a card to exchange,,you can exchange in (CCcam exchange free).
my advise since you are new to sharing is to read all the necessary topics on how to set your dreambox,,and on how to share

i had alook at the DM500S it sound ok but my question is do i need an external recorder or does it have a (PVR) internal recorder...cause it sound price wise ideal for my kind of budget cause i had a look at the 800 i think it is out of my current budget...

If you want to record then the cheapest option after the DM500 is the DM600 which has a slot for an IDE hard drive.

If you do not want the PVR function another cheap box to look into is an eagle box. Just g%%gle for Eagle Linux.

go for the dm600, you can card share with it as well as all dreamboxes(except dm100 which is rubbish)
its simple to use and you can invest in an ide hard drive when you're ready

most people recommend the dm500 mainly for the price
