Tuning Question - 15-January-2009, 12:22

Hi every time i install an image onto my Dreambox DM800HD i have to do an Automatic Scan to get my channels listed, is there anyway you can save these so i do not have to rescan every time i put on a new image as this can take up to 30 minutes to complete? If this is possible could someone please give me instructions on how to do this.

Many Thanks

Hi,

Please do a search with "openDBedit". This software let you download/save your channel list on your computer. After installing a new image, you just have to upload the saved list.

I am using Dreambox Control Center where you can save all your satscans and bouqets.
Maybe openDBedit do the same I havent tested that software.

alternatively, you can save the content of your tuxbox directory and re-upload it everytime you update firmware (that's basically what all those softwares do)

cheers
