Two newbie questions. Please answer me - 14-March-2009, 22:32

Hello everyone,
I'm kinda new to this, but I managed to connect my Dreambox 500 and install CCcam.
I registered today and I have two questions:

1) To share a card, I just have to edit the CCcam.cfg file and put the right C and S lines right? Or there is something else I need to set to identify the shared card?

2) Can you tell me what hop1 and hop2 are?

Thank you in advance. If it is too specific, please PM me.

hi mate

only advice i can give which will actually be useful is use the search button
many times the question is asked and answered

for how to create your cccam.cfg
http://www.eurocardsharing.com/f163/cccam-cfg-how-5279

for questions on hop's
hop is what it litteraily means:
Quote:
hop
v. hopped, hopping, hops
v.intr.

1.
a. To move with light bounding skips or leaps.
so hop0 is a card with 0 leap: i.e your local
hop1 is a card with 1 "leap": so its the local of your peer
hop2 is a card with 2 "leaps": so its the local of your peers friend...
..etc

cheers
