CCcam upload tutorial - 01-January-2009, 23:59

Great tutorial, thank you.
But I' m kind a new at this and it doesn't seem to work for me.
Maybe there is something wrong with my box and i'm gonna have it checked.
I can install a new cam just fine but it doesn't want to kick in when i switch channels.
Take care

This looks a great guide
Would you clarify one point
i have in the past used PLI image with that you had to remove everything in ccam config and insert nameservers
now i have changed to gemini do i not do this
if not how does it know my nameservers
this is the only hurdle i cannot cross and im confused

Does anyone know...just for reference....what does the picture quality depend on when two servers are connected. Is it the available bandwidth, or is it the ping between the two sharing servers. If so what is the recommended bandwidth to be used, and the round trip time in milliseconds between the servers?

And how to replace then?

dear download it from the gemini server if you are using the gemini project image, or download it from blue panel if you are using any other image

Svenni,

I tried (at least if this is what you meant?) that just a few minutes last year, and it seems to work. However, it does mean that your network will go down when switching between servers/emu's.
Just like everytime you restart your cam, it will kind of reboot your network to go offline with one cam and then online again with the other cam-emu.

Not sure this is what you want, because your peers will freak out! And think that you're an unreliable peer.

Cheers.
