Connecting 2 boxes with clines - 18-March-2010, 23:08

Hi Iknow there various stickies and Im quite willing to read the appropriate ones but as there are so many could somebody point me in the best direction please?

Basically I have a Dreambox 500S and Spiderbox 900. I have a cline and I want to use the Dreambox as the peer and use the Spider as a client so I can watch HD with the added benefits of the Dreambox. Could someone just confirm please how I set up the FLines and Clines on each box?

Also do I need to connect both boxes with scart or just connect each box directly to the router?

many thanks

what do you mean by scart?

both devices must be on you network, both an IP adress.
and basicly clear eachother with usernames, passwords and the right poort;

CCcam1;
C: IP-other_machine 12000 mach1 passw
F: mach2 passw

CCcam2;
C: IP-other_machine 12000 mach2 passw
F: mach1 passw

throw away the rest of the CCcam.cfg and have it a try
