Linsys 3G is designed to be used with 3G mobile broadband devices. Why do you need such a router anyway. In terms of security, it's a matter of firewall and open ports.

If you don't need 3G, just go with a regular router. Do some research. There are a lot of good routers everywhere.

Cheers

The same question DM500s Dovado 3g router CS - 17-April-2009, 16:35

Hi

Read the answer

Probably everyone here knows about the ordinary routers and how to use them.
But the question was about 3G router.

So to the problem: Is there anyone here who has tried to use CS for example from Dreambox users with NewCS and to a dreambox with Dovado 3g router in the summer home with no other internet connection than 3G broadband.

And if you fixed this, how did you managed that?

Please give me an answer.
