what do you mean by a good meter?

If you mean the diameter of your dish , this depends on where is your location to the satellite that you want to recieve.

will if live in EU & wnant to get hotbird , i guess a dish with ONE meter is more enough.

Good luck body.

If you rtalking about a meter for LNB input so you know when your hitting the spot !!!!! Go to ebay and type in Sat finder, there are loads i wouldnt go to far over board as they can range from 15euro's to 100euros.

Remember when setting up and LNB you have the input and reciver the right way! (took me hours to fthom that one out)

hope this is what you are on about

I looked at the site and it is very useful but I still would use a sat meter otherwise you will need to get your TV and DB visible so you can see if you have the connection.
The one's thing i did find on the site that it could make better is that if it added the min size of dish req would be a great feature i guess.

thanks for your site I have added it to my sat favs for future ref

Hixxy the horizon is indeed an excellent meter however at 300 GBP its a bit expensive for one dish alignment.
David123 if your in the uk try contacting a local sat shop it should cost you no more than 40GBP. or try the stop me and buy one technique with a "sky engineer"
