DM600 and Netgear DG834G - 18-July-2008, 10:26

Has anyone got card sharing with a DM600 and a Netgear DG834G router?

I have been reading loads of threads and trying different things but cannot get the port to open on the router.

Please can someone help?

You've been following the tutorial for your router @portforward.com? What EMU do you use?

And the protocol you've forwarded is TCP not UDP? You forwarded the standard port, 12000?

I have tried both, I will set it to TCP. when you say port do you mean opening the port on the router or on the cccam.cfg.

The port you're sharing with, standard 12000, must be forwarded TCP protocol.

Yes I have done that in the cccam.cfg. I am not sure if it is a problem with my router or the firmware. I have tried all different things but still cannot get it running.

It's fairly easy to do.

Log in to your router
On the left hand side, select "services" then "add custom service"
Give it any name you like, choose "TCP" and type in the port number you want, so in your case type 12000 in both start/finish ports
Apply

Then select "firewall rules" on the left hand side
Press "add" and select the name you previously entered for port 12000
Allow always
Enter the i.p address of your DM next to LAN server
WAN users - Any
Log - never (or you can select Always if you want to see the log file)
Apply

That's it
