dm800 external hdd - 14-September-2008, 20:17

i am about to buy a dm800 but have read its best to use an external hdd, to help keep the heat down, can anyone recommend one i want at least a 500gb, do i need a sata or usb ??? help

would this hdd be suitable 750GB External Hard Drive eSATA & USB2 Bracket & Cable on eBay, also, Internal External Hard Drives, Drives Storage, Computing (end time 15-Sep-08 22:17:54 BST)

It is simpler, in terms of your DM800, to connect an eSATA disk; on the other hand, USB 2 disks may be easier to find in the shops.

I have a USB 2 (in addition to my internal SATA), recuperated from another box, but then again, I'm a Linux geek...
