right now im looking for bootloader 72 to try it, so if anyone knows where to download ?
i know it comes with some new images but i only need the loader to flash over the image i already have

Did you have to pay for the new sim? I'm having a debate with my supplier about who should pay for this.

I had a problem with the sensitivity of my remote and reported it to the supplier. They said it was a hardware issue and sent me out a new front panel on an exchange basis and it immediately solved the problem.

the sensitivity problem on the clone dm800 was bootloader related not hardware
mine was not faulty, but the only way to use the remote was to point it directly at the box

Good, sounds like you solving it then!

I've downloaded BL72 from the Nabilosat forum, but I was not allowed to post it on here unfortunately.

If you got your box from where i think you did, then go back and ask for a replacement front or replacement box as its faulty ,as its unusable and all your problems will be gone. its a fault just like mine and your supplier knows this and stocks the new fronts with working IR for dm800's.

i got it from linuxsat, and they did send me the replacement front IR, however that didn't resolve my problem.
As for who should pay for the sim, if the seller clearly states its a clone, then its the buyers responsibility: he can be nice and take on the cost, but when you buy a clone, you know the risks and a non working bootloader is one of it...

c'est la vie ;)
