DM800 problems with rotor / multi LNB - 04-September-2008, 11:21

I found this info on a dutch forum and did a translation
It's about bad SNR's and or loosing channels or not being able to use to rotor.

1) update the drivers or image (image should include newest drivers)
2) test this telnet command << echo 5 > /proc/stb/frontend/0/tone_amplitude >>
( 6 is default, but test 5,7,4,3,8,9)
3) perform a new automatic scan
4) check how many channels are found
The value which has the best result put this one in the bootscript: /etc/init.d/bootup script
5) And diseqc delay can also have a big influence and that one you can adjust with this plugin

Report here your experience if anything helped and what image you are using
