Dreambox dm500s and diseq1.2 motor

Hello people

I read around on other forums, about problems with DM500 and low voltage power supply (12V-2A) for using diseq motor.

Some of the posts I read even mentioned warrantee not covering the repair after use of that kind of devices with DM500.A PDF file from DreamMultimedia says that this warrantee rule is only valid on Australia.

Now my problem:
A month ago my system starts to fail when I ask for Sat changing. in the beginning a hard reboot was enough for recovery. Now even after that procedure I'm not able to make it running. It’s not a motor problem because the same happens with a brand new that I bought yesterday... This new one only works if I use a power supply with 18V-3,6A

The Dream as only a few months
My question is If I use this power supply I probably will burn my DM500s, or not? Does anyone have similar problems? What did U do to make it work???

i dont know if that power supply will harm your db but my 500s crashed the other day everytime i tried to move the dish but a new dreambox 500 power supply has sorted it out
