How do I get started :) - 29-January-2009, 21:44

Hi all

Well, how do I get started with DB boxes and what do I need?

My case is: I have to providers. One is Conax and one Viaccess. I got two cards (full package) and want share with 2 friends. :)

I guess i need to run as server and they as client. What Dreambox do You reccomend?

Any help will be great.

Thanks in advance

with 2 cards a dm7020 is the "cheapest" dream with 2 cardslots, and try to learn a lot by reading the tutorials..

+ 5000 channels to watch, and still nothin' on TV...
- Server 24/7/365 - Wanted.. ziggo 5555.. Share - pm me ! - CCcam -

CCcam info in u'r ODS skin ?!
Start cardsharing with CCcam ?!
Control u'r TV with DreamRemote ?!

same as before, u can either go for a cheap alternative, dm 500 if u don't need pvr features or dm600 if u do, or if u want hd then u can either go for the dm800 or the ip boxes which can connect to a cccam server (only client mode)

Hi Proxie_dk
I would recommend a DB7000 as the cheapest way to get into cs, or if you want the best I can personally recommend a 8000.
