To dreamboy
Do not never use a default DM password change that first! If u use open webinfo then use strong username password. That is most common fault why user got hacked.

And make sure you forward only the sharing port to you're dreambox and NOT place it in the DMZ zone

Erm, having port 21 open to your dm is the problem. Only port forward the necessary ports. Nothing else.

Gentoo Linux - Nexus-s, Linux VDR - 2 x ATSC HD cards, Hauppauge PVR 500 for analog US Cable, 3 x Hauppauge MVP's running Vomp on VDR, UK TV on IPTV.

Not a single sat dish at the moment. :-(

ok..> now u know that you have been hacked-->>

what to do??

1st thing..change passwords--> in..CCCAm.config--> on your box!!--> for webif..and any other passwords!!

2nd -->close ALL ports but the cccam listen port!!

3rd--> change your cccam listen port--> and get in touch with EVERY PEER to have them also change accordingly and to INFORM them..of your problem!..they are also @ risk because of your mistake!

4th!!--> if you have the posability to filterout ips..> I WOULD FILTER THE WHOLE IP BAND OF IRAN!..> u can bet your %&/ that your dns..is allover thw iraian nets..>

5th..if you notice attacks..on your server ..>and your server is crashing, acting strange..ect...i would go ahead..and re-flash and get another dns-->

these mistakes..that people..to often make.. put us all in danger..one way or the other!-->

SIMPLE RULE!!!!!

ALWAYS CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD!!
NEVER OPEN OTHER PORTS!!
