It is already supported and have been for quite some time. However you need to extract a hardware key and pairing key from the box to make use of it.

When you have those two keys just add <hwkey> and <ekpair> to your setup.

I do not know how to extract the keys so do not waste your time asking me for help.

That is interesting karl12. I have this viasat DSB-H670N tuner and it has Ethernet connection. Pairing keys are inside of it. How to dig out them from the box? If someone has done this extraction please help. There is many card owners around waiting to launch server.

Is it just the <boxkey> setting (is used for NDS cards) that you talk about ?

No The card starts running with newcs without problems and it calculates CW:s normally on HD Channels but those CW:s are not correct ones. Rest of decrypting is made inside of Viasat accepted receiver. It has further alghorithm for that. That receiver for example Samsung DSB-H670N uses same processor familis's Broadcom BCM7402 whereas Dreambox DM800 uses same family's BCM7401.

Hi. I cant seem to find any information about <hwkey> and <ekpair> in newcs. I see its included in the binary when I grep for the strings but no real info on any forums. Can someone give me some pointers where to look?

I don't know exactly but this is the method

You need official box with original firmware, then you need the tools to read the firmware from the box, then you need to do OTA firmware update and read the new firmware from box, then you need to compare the old and new firmware and then maybe you find the keys ;)

As you can see not an easy job at all, I guess these days the really hard part is finding a box with original firmware.

You need two keys.

1. Pairing key which is stored in the eeprom
2. Hardware key which is stored in the Broadcom chip

Reading the firmware out of the flash will not help you.
