the snr is 88% and the agc is bouncing between 91 and 95%, the ber is 0.

I have 3 c:lines so i will go disable them one at a time to see they are conflicting.

Do i need all this default stuff in the cccam.cfg?

check

I have installed pli jade
configured the dish settings correctly
changed dreambox password
dl the newest cccam and installed inc cccam.cfg
set static ip on dreambox
port forwarded 12000 on router using dreambox ip
signed up for dyndns.com
got some clines and added to cccam.cfg with fline for each
adjusted bouquet

Is there anything else that i need to do. Is my dnydns address just for supply to other people to exchange or do i have to enter it in the dreambox somewhere or open any ports?

Thanks

I have also added my dns address to my router, is this good or bad?

I have supplied my cline in the form of username.dyndns.com 12000 username password but they are unable to connect but it is the same as i have supplied other people(changed username and password) and they cannot connect. Any help?

ok your signal quality appears fine , if your c line is from a server that is overloaded with shares you will get a lot of freezing and pixelation , your c lines should not cause a conflict . your dyndns account is used if you want to share your c lines or cards with some one in another house so if you gave a friend your c line to use you would give him a cline looking like this C:your dyndns 12000 friend1 share1 (you can use any user name or password you like as long as it matches the user and password in the f line ) in your server box you would put F:friend1 share1 (you can put additional info in to the fline like restrictions if you want but you dont need to).

if you only want to share in your own home you dont need the dyndns account and your c line will be a little different and will look like this C:your server box ip 12000 bedroom1 share1 and the f line F:bedroom1 share1 , if you have more boxes you can have C:your server box ip 12000 bedroom2 share2 and the fline F:bedroom2 share2 and so on . you dont use your own box user and password in the c lines as i say you make up a user name and password as above .

get the boxes sharing in your home and you will get them working externally ,also your own boxes ips and your friends box ips who are sharing with you must not be the same as any box sharing from you as on your network two ips the same will clash and not work . so an example your router ip is 192.168.0.100 and your laptop is 192.168.0.101 if you have 3 boxes in your home make box1 192.168.0.102 and box 2 192.168.0.103 and box 3 192.168.0.104 and tell your mate to make his ip in his box 192.168.0.105 etc and so on then you have no conflicts. also if your dreamboxes are clones they may have the same mac address so again this can cause a conflict ,but we can talk about that if that problem arises. and lastly are your c lines open for resharing (most are not if they have been purchased) so this may explain why people cant share your c lines .

As always thanks for thr replies piopat :)

With the freezing and pixalation it just looks like i need some shares with lower hops. At the moment i have 31,2s - 395,3s and 1230,4s as reported on cccam control centre.

These ones are working fine, but i dont know why when i have sent some others my c:line they have reported it as not working. My router, dreambox and main pc are on 24/7 at the moment and i have dns updater running.

Only running one dreambox on my lan and all other devices that use it have static ips setup.

all my exchanges have been with people in the free exchange section :)

Thanks again

you should stay at hop3 or lower anything above that will more than likely freeze and pixellate. i cant see a reason a c line that works for other people will not work for some people unless these people have not set there box communicaton settings correctly . you need to check that with them ,as the problem may be at there end and not caused by you. also they need to check the cline in their cccam.cfg file to see that they entered it properly ,ask them when they entered the cline did they remove the # symbol at the start of the line .an example
# C:your dyndns 12000 user pass (the # symbol at the start of the line blocks the line from working it should be removed) if your happy that your c line operates ok they need to check the above.
