You must install image into flash > map devices with devices manager and reboot > run meoboot plugin and select your device ( I suggest USB ) reboot > ftp nfi image to media/usb/mbootupload > once transfered go back to meoboot plugin and install your image.

nabilosat 133d hdd initializing problems - 15-July-2010, 18:52

went out and purchased usb and hdd for recording and multibooting
what a pain nabilosat 133d is for initializing hdd
i spent most of the day trying to get this new hdd to initialize
works 1st time gemini 5 but no go with nab 133d after many attempts
tried gparted ext3 for format still would not initialize mounts fine
found a fix on dream-elite site for anybody else that is struggling
except i used dcc no need for rebooting then

1 .Open the file fstab with a linux-compatible editor
fstab can be found in "/etc"

2. When you have opened it you will see something like this:

rootfs / auto defaults 1 1
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
/dev/mtdblock2 /boot jffs2 ro 0 0
tmpfs /var tmpfs defaults 0 0
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
#/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

3. Now remove the '#' so that it will be:

rootfs / auto defaults 1 1
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
/dev/mtdblock2 /boot jffs2 ro 0 0
tmpfs /var tmpfs defaults 0 0
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

4. Put the edited fstab file back in /etc, give it rights 644 and restart your box.
please note guys when you have initialize it you must put # back or it will cause problems when time shifting/recording
after alot of swearing and huffing and puffing its done now

In flash i have nabilosat 133d on both origanl and clone dm800's
ive noticed when my clone is in multiboot say gemini 5 the power light keeps flashing on and off (very annoying) not on orignal receiver
everything seem to work as it should
i no clone's are not supported by elite-team but does anybody no why this happens? or is it just a setting within the image?
i have used patched images on the usb for multibooting is this required? if the secondstage & drivers are in flash or used genuine images in multiboot on clone be ok?
like i said i have no problems with the orignal receiver
thanks for any input
