Question nds ftv cfg - 16-July-2007, 11:35

Could anybody please tell me how i can get Gbox to read my local (NDS) card before all other peers please.
I have searched for this simple task but cant find it so i thought i'd post here to help others?
Anybody , please?

If it's your local card it will automatically ask, but your card maybe slow and the network response is faster. I found my freesat cards didn't work well in gbox and ended up having to stick them in newcs. Then I found the box id of the card and stuck it in a G line. I also limited the D line to cs2gbox to only 1 so my peers don't get it. It's not worth sharing (IMHO).

Gentoo Linux - Nexus-s, Linux VDR - 2 x ATSC HD cards, Hauppauge PVR 500 for analog US Cable, 3 x Hauppauge MVP's running Vomp on VDR, UK TV on IPTV.

Not a single sat dish at the moment. :-(

I tried this with a g line but every now and then maybe after a few hours or so my picture would freeze for 5 seconds and when it came back it would read frm network until i restarted gbox. I seem to of solved this using a W- Line though.
