Lads I think Im nearly there but would appreciate if someone could have a look at my Fline's/Cline's below

Just to recap my setup is two dreambox 500s on an internal lan via a 4port router. I have both boxes running the Gemini 4.6 clonesafe image with 2.1.3 CCcam.

Router = 192.168.1.1/with port 1200 forward'd

Dreambox/sever= 192.168.1.2/running CCcam 2.1.3

Dreambox/client= 192.168.1.3/running CCcam 2.1.3

Both boxes will clear all channels when the subbed card is put into them seperetly

But cannot get both boxes running at the same time

CCcam config file for Dreambox
/Sever The bits I put in are in red.

################################################## ####################
# friends #
################################################## ####################
# syntax for to add a friend user to CCcam with the max up hops limit (default = 5)
# sharing of emus (default = 1), allow emm (default = 1), and optional
# downshare limits per share (default = no limits) and optional
# downshare limits per share based on caid:id:sid
# and optional timeslots in which share is valid (to block channels on box of children after 19:00 for instance)
# if no timeslot is defined 24 hrs a day is used
# emus are shared only one level down, even if no limits given

#F: Mickeymouse 123456 3 0 0 { 0:0:3 }

# max username length 20
# password length 'unlimited

CCcam config file for Dreambox/client
The bits I put in are in red

################################################## ####################
# connections #
################################################## ####################
# syntax for to add a client connection to other CCcam
# add yes on end to use friends emus (non public private key/emu,etc...),
# but only works when corresponding F line on server has '1' for <shareemus>
# optional limits just like F line, but for incoming shares (ignore shares more than 'uphops' away)
#
#C: <hostname> <port> <username> <password> <wantemus> ( { caid:id(:uphops), caid:id(:uphops), ... } )

C: 192.168.1.2 12000 Mickeymouse 123456 no { 0:0:3, 100:3, 100:4 }

Try just this first.

C: 192.168.1.2 12000 Mickeymouse 123456 no

Have you checked cccaminfo or webinterface to see if client is listed as connected? Web info will be http://192.168.1.2:16001 . When you are done change default port on 12000 and 16001 if you intend sharing over internet, and password your webinterface.

WAIT! Your F-line is hashed out. Take away the # in front of it.

Much appreciated Bigman, that deleting of the # on my C line did the job

hi,

1st of all if it is an internal network you DONT need any ports forwarding in ur router, (port forwarding is only needed if ur using net)

2nd of all check and make sure that on the receiver with the card in that the channels actually open in the 1st place this will make sure that the card is being read and is going to be sent ok

and as dotseh says if it has a # in front of it anything after the has will be ignored, basically the hash enables comments to be put in there without cccam trying to read it :)

why have you got it ignoring certain idents?

is tha card u are sharing for sly ie 0963 etc

if the card isnt caid 0100 then remove the bit , 100:3, 100:4 as its not needed and only confuse u atm so ur line looks like this...

C: 192.168.1.2 12000 Mickeymouse 123456 no { 0:0:3 }

any probs just post, lots of ppl on here willing to help :)
