Hi ive a friend who has no broadband were he lives and he would like to connect his dreambox to the internet.
Is this possible with 3g ?
If so please send link to good supplier.

Usb broadband is not good enuff not enuff speed i have already tried that for a friend but its a complete Disaster unfortunatly its ok for browsing internet which is what Usb internet was intended for but nothing else .
either phone broadband or Satellite broadband he would need anything else is simply a complete waste of time .

mobile broadband will work, but as pointed out stability is a big question. and do not even think of making a server out of that. there are several ways, one of the easiest is to setup ICS on the pc/laptop and connect your dm through that. another way is to buy a usb dongle or 3g router.

the BEST way of course is to relocate to a place where DSL abounds.
