Question pc server help - 29-August-2012, 11:25

im trying to make a pc server using ubuntu 12.04, ive followed the instructions to the T but im getting stuck at a certain point and cant seem to find an answer on google.
everything was going smoothly untill it got these lines in the terminal:

im using vmware through windows xp, and im wondering if its like an opengl or graphics driver problem, or maybe the version of ubuntu i have doesnt have the required font, im dumbfounded.

any help would be greatly appreciated

instead of running it with a Vm which i presume you would only do for testing (lets face it you would have a live server set up this way, would you?) so instead why not just boot from the ubuntu build disk and play in your ubuntu session environement. at least you can then eliminate some "virtual" issues...
