Unhappy peers dropping out - 19-November-2008, 10:33

i have about 40 peers in my CCcam 2.09 using DM500s and Gemini 4.2 image, the problem i have is i keep losing peers, going offline, i looked in my CCcamcfg and found most persistent offlines were by peers who use johnnythefox as username in their F lines for me,the only way i can get peers back is to reboot router, which is Airties R205,but i can lose anything from 10 to 15 peers a day, getting fed up unplugging router, would changing these passwords help?

username should be fine, I got 34 and all using Morte in f line

40 is pretty much you use filtering?
old/fake cards/hops?
How many shares you have?
1000's is too much

run cccam in debug mode if you can or output it to a log file
./var/bin/CCcam_versionnumber -d > outputlogfile

then check the output log file to see if you get error -1 in the result
i've heard its quite common

if you see it: simply delete the peers that cause it
