800 clones have Bootloader from 600, so you can't use newer images

you should go for nabilo blackhole
first you need to know which latest bootloader you dm800 can handle
for example if it only takes bl 69 you can flash it with any blackhole image using dream up and flash it straight after with bl69 the same way

if your dm800 is from the latest batch, i believe that they can handle up to bl72

hope that helps

i just got a DM800 clone. It came with bootloader 72 and Gemini 4.4.

I wasn't sure to use it as is or not so I downgraded to Gemini 4.2 and working like a champ so far.

When you first power up the receiver, it will flash up on the tiny display. You need to be very quick to see it.

You can also try the following:
1. Power down your receiver
2. Unplug the power
3. Press and hold the power button
4. Plug the power
5. Keep holding the power till you see "Stop" on the screen and an IP address displayed
6. Open a browser in the computer and enter the receiver IP address
7. There is an info link there that will you show you what all the info, bootloader, serial, max, etc...

Let us know how it goes...
