Exclamation Sharing 1 card with 2 dm500s - Problems - 17-November-2008, 21:31

Hi
I have 2 dm500s. Both have been flashed with nabilo and both running cccam 2.0.9. I am able to view sky on both machines using a cline to an exchange server. What i cant do is share my own sky card over my own lan.
On box 1 with the card i have deleted all info in the cccam.cfg and inserted
F: user1 john
Thatsit . that is all that is in my cfg file
This boxes ip address is 192.168.1.99

On box 2 cccam.cfg contains only the following line
C: 192.168.1.99 user1 john
This boxes ipaddress is 192.168.1.66

What or where am i going wrong

Any info appreciated

Jester

So we will assume that you have 3 DM500`s
BOX ONE contains your card and is connected to a WAN server.IP address on lan is 192.168.1.01
Box two is on your LAN and has no card and needs to see BOX ONE IP address on lan is 192.168.1.02
BOX THREE is also on your LAN and has no card and needs to see BOX ONEIP address on lan is 192.168.1.03

BOX ONE C lines
C: wan servers.dyndns.org 12000 user pass
C: 192.168.1.02 12000 BOXTWO PASSWORD2
C: 192.168.1.03 12000 BOXTHREE PASSWORD3

BOX ONE F lines
F: user pass this is from WAN SERVERS
F: BOXTWO PASSWORD2
F: BOXTHREE PASSWORD3

BOX TWO C lines
C: 192.168.1.01 BOXONE PASSWORD1
C: 192.168.1.03 BOXTHREE PASSWORD3

[b]BOX TWO F lines
F: BOXONE PASSWORD1
F: BOXTHREE PASSWORD3
Ok i need to ask. If i dont require internet access, can i leave out the wan servers entry. IE i just want to share my card with my own boxes on my own lan.?
I am hoping to get my motorised dish up next week so will be looking for a share at that stage, but for now i would like to be ableto do the shareover the lan and no wan access

regards and thanks so far

john

Hi
Ok, to answer my own question, wan servers not needed for inhouse sharing. I have put the flines and clines as the same in both cfg files. I am now watcing sky movies on box 2. Box1 has the card and nothing else. Just the power cable and the ethernet cable :) No dish etc.

Anyhow, a real big thank you to all who have helped me out so far

John
