m8 how did you do that I thought you had to supply sly with a new box ( HD Box ) if you upgrade to HD.

I know i have official HD sub and I had to call them with my new HD box number.

You can not activate the card unless its connected to a telephone line in the uk registered under the name of the card owner and they usually come to the house after a couple of months to make sure that the card is in the box and that everything is as it should be.Otherwise they remove everything and they have the right to charge u for not following the contract rules

Not sure about this! is this just "The HD team".
BTW, Sky would not have the right to enter into property without the owners consent.

Geo1 you are wrong on both counts my friend.

As for sky knocking on your door that`s just laughable but i`m sure you`ll tell me you know a friends brothers sisters auntie that it happened to!!!
As for them removing the equipment i think you will find that you own it from day one ! The card and only the card remain the property of Sky subscribers services and must be returned upon request.

if you are in the first 12 months you have to have it plugged in but after that you don't.
