What is the big difference between DM500 and DM500+ - 27-January-2008, 22:47

Hello.
I am thinking of buying a DM500 clone but i wondered what the difference between it and a DM500+ is.
I was thinking it was that 500+ has more RAM and bigger flashrom.
Because gemini image for 500 is 5mb and 500+ is 15mb.
What is the main things i will notice between the 500 and 500+ in standard usage, will just use the reciever to conect to my 7020s server and i dont want a box that hangs and crashes a lot.

Best Regards FSS

I don't know about the 500.
Having both a 600-PVR and a 500+, I would say their only differecies are, the IDE interface and the normal sized remote, of the 600-PVR.
regards

You cannot see difference in speed with normal use between DM500+ and DM500. I would choose some of the clone machines, for example Eaglebox, it's excellent piece of hardware for low price...
