which receiver? 7020 or 7025? - 30-August-2007, 22:13

im looking to get a dreambox to do a cs on and was wondering which would be best for me.

im looking to do uk sky and some european tv.

ive heard good things about the 7020 but wondered if the 7025 is as supported as much as the 7020 and does everything that it can.

also what is the best linux and gbox to use for a uk sky cs?

any info greatly received.

If you want to use Gbox then the 7020 is the better opinion, because the 7025 don't work good with gbox if you want to record one channel and watch another.
But you must know what you whant. If you need a Twin Receiver then you need the 7025 with Cccam. If you don't need a Twin Tuner then buy the 7020.

I've both the 7020 and 7025 and there is no problem with gbox on the 7025. It only lacks the gbox version 2.1B.
As you stated correctly the twin receiver with Cccam for viewing and recording a different channel is the best combo.
There is also one more advantage for 7025 over 7020, the processor is faster, which result in faster response time.
