Question AzBox HD Premium or DM800 - 08-February-2010, 17:03

Hello ,

i want to buy a HD receiver but i don't know wich choose between Dreambox 800 HD or AzBox HD Premium and i am using CCcam as server & client & i have read the Azbox isn't stable with Cccam as server , i think too waiting the new Dreambox 500HD is more cheap than 800HD.

I want your advice

why not consider a dm500 (or clone) as your server and the azbox as ur 'watching' reciever. azbox is a great box when its working and is getting better. dm800 too expensive.

having a dm800 clone and an azbox premium hd as well, i already gave my opinion on:

now, things would be a lot different if opensat concentrated on drivers and bootloader like the Vu+ so that we could run enigma2 on the azbox...

however! I think its a good box with lots of potential, as soon as opensat release the firmware opensource :)
