sharing local card - 11-October-2009, 12:11

Hello
I have a azbox downstairs and a dreambox 600 upstairs.I would like to know if it possible to share my local card in my azbox to my dreambox cccam server.I can share the card from the dreambox with the azbox with cccam on the azbox.I have two cards ziggo and canal digitaal i cant get the ziggo card working in the azbox,so if i could share the canal digitaal card from the azbox to my dreambox cccam server i could use dreambox to read and share the ziggo card to my azbox.Can someone tell me if this is possible and how to set it up or how i can get the azbox to read my ziggo card.
Thanks

Did you try newcs on Azbox with your Ziggo card?

Example of newcs.xml:
Quote:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<newCSconfig>
<readers name="Card Readers">
<device>
<name>upper</name>
<type>azbox</type>
<node>/dev/scard</node>
<export>yes</export>
<enabled>yes</enabled>
<blocksa>no</blocksa>
<blockua>no</blockua>
<blockga>No</blockga>
<newcamd_port>20000</newcamd_port>
<autosid>no</autosid>
<carddetect>yes</carddetect>
<priority>hard</priority>
<PTShandshake>no</PTShandshake>
<mhz>Frequency_of_Ziggo_card</mhz>
<boxkey>if needed otherwise leave it blank</boxkey>
<rsa>if needed otherwise leave it blank</rsa>
</device>
</readers>
<xmlserver>
<enabled>0</enabled>
</xmlserver>
<radegastserver>
<enabled>0</enabled>
</radegastserver>
<cache>
<emm>10</emm>
<ecm>-1</ecm>
</cache>
<debug>
<darint39>sintoi51</darint39>
<level>internal</level>
<type>all</type>
<output>console, tcp</output>
<logfile>/tmp/newcs.txt</logfile>
<console_options></console_options>
<file_options></file_options>
<udp_host>IP_of_AZBOX</udp_host>
<udp_port>9000</udp_port>
<udp_options></udp_options>
<tcp_port>1001</tcp_port>
<tcp_options></tcp_options>
</debug>
<newcamdserver>
<enabled>yes</enabled>
<name>local</name>
<deskey>01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14</deskey>
<user>
<name>dummy</name>
<password>dummy</password>
<au>on</au>
<hostname>127.0.0.1</hostname>
<port>12000</port>
</user>
<user>
<name>ziggo</name>
<password>card</password>
<au>on</au>
</user>
</newcamd_server>
</newCSconfig>
N line for CCcam will look like this:
Quote:
N: IP_of_AZBOX 20000 ziggo card 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
Use this version of newcs:
Download

Extract the archive and copy via FTP direectory Newcs in OpenXCAS directory. Newcs dir contains 3 files. Give Chmod 755 to newcs file. Then edit newcs.xml with your data (change newcs.xml as shown in above example). After that reboot your Azbox.

You can check Newcs via web-if. Just type in your fav browserIP_of_Azbox:1001

CCcam cant see Azbox reader you must use Smargo or newcs as cardreader for CCcam.

Hi, will this newcs work with an Al Jazeera Sports card so that my AZBox sees it as a local card, if so, what do I add as the frequency of this card (not sure where to find this).
