Could be any problem mate.
Bad CCcam Version, theirs or yours.
CCcam config problem, theirs or yours.
Internet line problem or dynds/no-ip problem theirs or yours.
Port forwarding on router incorrectly configured, theirs or yours.
Too many peers, theirs or yours.
Too much loaded on box plugins etc, memory problems, theirs or yours.

Make sure you both have swap file on usb or hdd
Test ping to and from.

Delete all crappy plugins that you really have no use for.

If using epg import wether crossepg or other make sure files
are saved on hdd or usb, same with picons etc.

Make sure your memory usage, ping and ecm times are as low
as possible and your peers are not giving too many bad ecms.

Make sure your cccam listening port is opened in your router
as well as their port opened in theirs.

If using dyndns or no-ip make sure you have both updated
the client recently.

Ping each other to see ping times, lower the better.

Make sure you use a known good cccam version
as some versions do introduce serious latency and issues.

Enough from me........
