Wel, after about 2 intens weeks, I neerly got everything mooving, but now I'm realy not getting past this problem:
Using a dreambox 500S, everything up to date (Pli jade, CCcam), and everything except sharing is working.
So, here's what I got:
I have the CCcam configuration right because I get incoming server connections (via C-Line), and even outgoing client connections (via F-Line), but only when accessing from an internal IP (I am testing with a second dreambox 500S).
So here is the problem:
can not access / share the box from an external IP
Done the dyndns, and it works fine (it reaches the login page on my router)
Done the port forward in the router, and testing shows that the port is "open" (I confirmd that port is not open when I remove the forward rule and vice versa).
So everything on the outside, leading to my router seems to be configured ok, and everything internaly seams to be configured ok.
But the connection ( I am convinced it is the port forwarding) is not doing what it is supposed too...
The modem router is a sitecom WL-174
The port forward section on WL-174 is in fact the "virtual server section"
It can enter the port range to be forwarded (start and end), and the local IP to forward too, but not the internal port I am forwarding into... perhaps this is an issue?
In any case, i'm so close... but so far... it's driving me nuts...
any help would be very welcome...
