Ccam help for sharing

Hi,
could someone help me with Ccam, C lines & controlling which peer gets what etc...
I've read all the tutorials but the more I read the more confused I get.
I just need it explained in a very simple way because I'm a bit slow.

I want to understand & know what exactly to put on my f lines:-

1) how/what hops exactly are & work
2) how I can limit my peers,so they can't share it on further
3) is it adviseable to let them have my emu's?

help? I'm starting to lose the plot my heads going to explode!!
