Start up DVBViewer. Select Settings and then Options. Click on hardware and enable the option "Has CI module" and make sure the option "Send only encrypted Channels to CI" is disabled.

after searching some forums

someone said like this :

when i bought the card i had the same problem.
I install drivers, and after reboot the windows hang during start.
So i remove the card boot remove drivers, install card and drivers and so on. Every time they hang.

That was what i thought. But the did not.

Try wait a very looong time. 15 mins.

After this terible pause they were continuing with boot. And now they boot normal time.

I have exactly the same problem, when I reboot after installing the drivers XP tells me it needs to check the drive, it then finds a couple of errors which it fixes continues to boot and then I get a blue screen telling it has encountered a problem and to remove newly installed devices, a reboot to last known good install restores normality, have tried to follow this post but none of the fixes detailed here work, anyone get any other ideas for me to try. I run WinXP pro SP1.

Ok. I know this isn't preferred to do as it will most likely decrease the overall preformance on your PC, but installing Windows (any OS version) WITHOUT ACPI solves about ANY strange problem with Skystar2 cards.

With Win2k and WinXP this is done by pressing F5 when the installation CD boots up and then selecting "Standard PC".
