where do you get the codec?
and is the nvidia codec good on ati card?

VLC player has all in one and can play allmost everything from dvd to mp3 and it is freeware.

cyperlink & mpeg2 is a good codec for cart satellite

Actually I did prefer Dscaler for a long time - its in some codec packs like klite. It has the least issues with my old 16:9 CRT which needed 50Hz.
With a TFT screen I guess the cyberlink/powerdvd ones are best.

I prefer Cyberlink 7.3 and prog Dvb.

From what I've tryed, Elecard gives the lowest CPU usage on my P3.
I use it for both, audio and video.
